For the upcoming World Cup, Rí Rá Irish Pub in Uptown, which has been home to the ‘beautiful game’ for local soccer fans for almost 30 years, will be transformed into the city’s ultimate match-day headquarters. Guests will experience wall-to-wall coverage of the tournament, food & drinks specials and unique fan events, in a high energy atmosphere built for supporters of all competing nations. To celebrate the tournament, Rí Rá is also launching an Irish style shandy on tap, which has been brewed locally by Middle James Brewing out of Pineville, NC. ‘Rí Rá Shandy’ is a refreshing, low alcohol (2.5% ABV) highly session-able beer, perfect to pair with the big game as well as the summer season! Rí Rá will also be running the draft shandy at a special discounted price of $4.50 a pint, throughout the World Cup tournament.
