Do you love Charlotte's murals? Join artist Lo’Vonia Parks and ArtWalks CLT for a guided artwalk in Uptown on Saturday, 3/5 at 1:00 pm.
About this event
Visit murals painted for the Talking Walls mural festival, try out Uptown Interactive augmented reality experiences, and be inspired hearing about the creative process from an artist.

This one-hour artwalk begins and ends at the VAPA Center, 700 N. Tryon Street. Meet out front of VAPA at 12:50 pm. This event is free but limited to 25 participants. On-street parking is available uptown. Light rail access is from the 9th Street Station. This event is sponsored by Charlotte Center City Partners.

After the ArtWalk, please feel free to stay and check out the Open House at VAPA, Charlotte’s new Visual and Performing Arts Center. Artist Shawn Etheridge and his “HBCU Historic Heros” exhibit will be on display in the main gallery.

Lo’Vonia Parks is a Charlotte-based artist known for her murals, drawings, caricatures, and jewelry design. She was a 2019 artist in the Brand the Moth META Residency Program and has murals in South End and Uptown. Parks was recently voted Queen City Nerve Best Visual Artist for 2021. Want to know more?
