Struggling with your backbends? Don't know where to begin, and want to level up? This workshop will break down every single major joint involved in a backbend, the anatomy, and give you drills to help you build your backbend on the ground and in the air! JJ will bring their best, love to hate it drills, that bring you the strength and flexibility you've been dreaming of.

PREREQUISITES: None! Bring your own yoga block, lacrosse ball, and mini band if you wish - they will be provided if not.

INSTRUCTOR BIO:
JJ is a Doctor of Physical Therapy trained in circus rehabilitation and performance as well as pelvic floor physical therapy. JJ has a background in aerial arts, handstands, AcroYoga, Kettlebells, long distance running, and contact improv. Inspired to think of movement as medicine, they bring a unique blend of anatomy, awareness, and emotional intelligence to movement that empowers folks to unlock the healing intelligence in their bodies. The goal for every workshop, every session, is to discover the way we can move and heal our bodies as we do so.
