Start at UNC Charlotte Main Station & exit at 7th St Market. In an effort to draw more of those in University to explore Uptown (most don’t).

A partnership with CATS, City of Charlotte and Mooyah Burgers, organized by Revamp, local government consulting agency offering free burgers and day-passes for those willing to clean a predetermined route in Uptown.
The clean up is meant to boost city cleanliness, community engagement and business foot traffic in the Epicenter and surround Uptown corridor. Starting from UNCC, Revamp Staff ride with volunteers and students from UNCC all the way to 7th St. Market.
From there, volunteers clean along bike path to 3rd St/Convention Center, turn and walk towards Chipotle to dump bags and end at Sweetgreen/Center City for a group picture.
This project is in response to the recent light rail stabbings and an effort to keep Charlotte beautiful by way of using the Broken Windows Theory.
Willing to collaborate with existing sustainability groups. The more, the merrier. Low interest in taking credit, high interest in public safety.
