Join Sustain Charlotte and our partners in the Neighbors For More Neighbors coalition on Wednesday, June 9th for Grow Smart CLT: Exploring the Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan. They will introduce you to this vision for the future of Charlotte and why it's so critical as the city grows. Community and neighborhood panelists including Mayor Pro Tem Eiselt, Council Member Ajmera, and representatives from United way, Lakeview Neighborhood Alliance, and the Charlotte Center Legal Advocacy will share their perspectives, too! More speakers to be announced soon.
The event will be held at Victoria Yards and will be Sustain Charlotte’s first in-person event in over a year. Resident Culture will be on-site selling your favorite beverages, and food trucks will be on-site as well. This is a free event, with a $10 donation request to help us cover expenses. Registration is required to monitor capacity.

As Charlotte grows (adding 44 new people every day), it is critical that we “grow smarter”. To help, Sustain Charlotte’s monthly event series, Grow Smart CLT, explores the multiple sustainability challenges that Charlotte faces due to our rapid growth.
Each event focuses on a different issue that is being impacted by our growth, and explores the obstacles and potential solutions. Attendees walk away with a better understanding of the challenges we face and at least one action they can take to put Charlotte on a smarter path.
