Tonight, House of Funk zeroes in on the legendary Tri-State funk corridor, a cultural engine of the 70s and 80s where smooth jazz horn arrangements, raw street energy, and psychedelic avant-garde music merged into legendary anthems.
Featuring some of Charlotte’s finest musicians: Courtney Gibson, Jesse Lamar Williams, Zach Wheeler, Braxton Bateman, Simon George, and Stefan Kallander, in addition to monthly sit ins from the deep well of Charlotte Funk.
