Join us at Victoria Yards as Southern Hospitality presents our Inaugural Uptown Juneteenth Cookout, a vibrant and family-oriented celebration of Black culture. While there are various Juneteenth events happening throughout the city, we are dedicated to highlighting the areas experiencing rapid growth, both culturally and economically, and bringing long-overdue celebration to the heart of Uptown. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that feels like home, reminiscent of a warm and welcoming backyard barbeque.

On Saturday, June 17th, from 12 PM to 10 PM, we invite you to participate in our History of Juneteenth Storytime, where we will delve into the significance and legacy of this important day. Young entrepreneurs will showcase their talents at the Young Entrepreneurs Black Wallstreet, displaying their creativity and innovation. In addition, we will pay tribute to renowned artists Young Jean Michel Basquiat and Romare Bearden, showcasing their remarkable contributions to the art world.

On Sunday, June 18th, from 12 PM to 5 PM, we will focus on honoring our Black fathers while prioritizing mental health. Join us for a thought-provoking panel discussion, Black Man Consciousness and Evolution into Fatherhood, hosted by Charlotte's own Eddie Owens, a prominent radio personality. We will be joined by esteemed Black men from our community who will share their insights and experiences, paying tribute to Father's Day.

We would be honored to have you as a partner in our inaugural events. Your organization's commitment to Black Excellence and community progression aligns perfectly with our vision.

Mark your calendars for June 17th and 18th and join us at Victoria Yards, located at 209 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC. Together, let's celebrate the richness of Black culture, create lasting memories, and foster community unity.
