LOCAL STREET is a pop up exhibition that highlights local artists and creatives in Charlotte, NC with a large emphasis on artists & creatives that are often marginalized and underrepresented in our local arts economy. This is an opportunity to encourage and support diversity, equity and inclusion within our arts community.
This exhibition is a strategy for social change and offers an alternative way of seeing and knowing who is around us. We, the underrepresented, should not be in any situation where we feel unwelcome in our hometown as citizens and creative entrepreneurs.
