This guided walk offers a unique way to experience Charlotte’s past. Along the one-mile route, attendees will hear stories of strange deaths, true crime, historic figures, and whispered supernatural tales, all set among the monuments of Elmwood and Pinewood. The tour begins at the unusual headstone of John King, remembered for his tragic death involving an elephant.

While there are no formal age restrictions, adult themes will be discussed, and parental discretion is advised.

Guests can choose between two tour times, at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, with space limited to 60 participants per session.

Practical notes for attendees:

Parking available near the Gardener’s Cottage- enter through the main entrance on 6th street, turn left, follow the curve to the Gardener’s Cottage on the right.
Tour duration:1.5 hours
Comfortable shoes recommended; the path covers uneven ground.
Bring water.
