From vintage to vogue, celebrate the opening of the exhibition "Fashion Reimagined: Themes & Variations: 1760-NOW" and the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Mint’s fashion collection by the Mint Museum Auxiliary.
10 AM: Early opening with light champagne breakfast.
11 AM–noon: Panel discussion: "The Anatomy of an Exhibition" featuring Annie Carlano, senior curator of craft, design + fashion at the Mint, Tae Smith, fashion and textile conservator and dresser; Lauren Whitley, co-author of the exhibition catalogue; and exhibition architects Vanessa Kassabian, Emily Moore, Andrew Gale.
2–3 PM: Enjoy an artist talk with acclaimed fashion designer, filmmaker, and author Walé Oyéjidé and a screening of his film "After Migration: Calabria."
