Join us as we commemorate and honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Since 1993, this annual event has engaged a diverse audience who come together to honor Dr. King’s spirit of service. His dream lives on through the goal of achieving justice, equity, and inclusion for all.
The theme for this year's event is Equitable Leadership in Challenging Times and will feature a distinguished panel of local leaders moderated by Alex Giles from WBTV. Prayer, music, dancing and a spoken word performance will inspire you and honor the accomplishments of Dr. King.
In 2023, we are excited to return to an in-person breakfast event after celebrating together virtually in 2021 and 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A video will be shared following the event for those can’t join us in person.
Power 98 Morning Maddhouse will broadcast live from the convention center!
Event proceeds will be used to support the McCrorey YMCA with programs that have positive impact on youth and families in the northwest corridor such as teen leadership development programs and others.
