On May 16th and 17th, 2026, from Noon to 4 pm each day, the Friends of Fourth Ward will host the Secret Gardens of Fourth Ward, a garden and lifestyle tour, complete with complimentary food, wine and cocktail tastings at gardens and restaurants along the way. This walkable, self-guided tour through historic Fourth Ward showcases a mix of private courtyards, Victorian front porches, and unique outdoor living spaces. The tour also highlights art, architecture, historic homes, Charlotte's oldest cemetery, and special points of interest along the tour route, effectively making all of Historic Fourth Ward – and the extraordinary quality of life it offers – part of the tour.

Additional Perks Included in Ticket Price: Live music + complimentary food, wine and cocktail tastings in gardens and restaurants along the tour route.

The historic Dunhill Hotel and The Asbury will offer an Open House with complimentary tastings featuring their famous Sticky Biscuits accompanied by a bourbon cocktail.

Spaghett - On Saturday only, experience the hottest ticket in town, with live cooking and complimentary tastings by Executive Chef Kendall Moore and award-winning mixologist Amanda Britton. This long-awaited concept from James Beard nominee Chef Sam Hart is now open in the Historic Morrison House in the heart of Fourth Ward.

Historic Settlers Cemetery – From 1-4 each day, enjoy docent-led tours of Charlotte's oldest cemetery (founded 1768), an oasis of green tranquility uptown.
