Join Laura Holling Kaplan of LHK Clay Studio for a Sip & Sculpt “Build Your Beer Stein or Coffee Mug" Clay Class at the Market on Sunday, May 7 from 2-5pm.

This 2-hour class was created for everyone! Perfect for a date night or a girls night out. You do not have to be artsy to join in on the fun.

HOW IT WORKS: You will be guided to create your own clay stein or mug using hand building clay slab techniques. During class you will be given a choice of five different glazes to be used to complete your stein/mug, making it safe for food, microwave and top shelf dishwasher. Once class is finished, Laura will gather your creations and take them back to her clay studio in Weddington, NC. There they will be kiln fired and glazed to the color of your choice. This process will take up to three weeks, and students will be emailed with info on when they're available for pickup from the Market.

The cost is $60, and included with your class price you will receive one beverage from Assorted Table Wine or Not Just Coffee. Class also includes all art supplies, professional instruction, two kiln firings of stein/mug, and one choice of glaze.
