Get Ready Charlotte! The 10th Annual Charlotte African American Festival (CAAF) is a celebration of the rich heritage and accomplishments of African-Americans. The festival will be held April 22nd and 23rd 2023 in the historic Brooklyn Village at 710 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. in downtown Charlotte, North Carolina. The festival is free to the public and the hours are 10:00AM-6:00PM each day.
The festival will include exhibits, musical performances, art, literature, food, dancers, drummers, a pageant, speakers, vendors, and special awards and recognitions. Proceeds raised by the festival will support educational and cultural programs.
