The enchanting classic children’s literature, THE SECRET GARDEN, by Frances Hodgson Burnett, is gloriously brought to life on stage with music by Lucy Simon and music and lyrics by Marsha Norman. Winner of three Tony Awards, including Best Book of a Musical, Scenic Design, and Featured Actress, THE SECRET GARDEN tells the story of young and orphaned Mary Lennox, who returns to Yorkshire to live with her embittered and reclusive uncle, Archibald Craven and his disabled son, Colin. The estate, while seemingly dull and dreary at first sight, becomes Mary’s wonderment, as she learns the many secrets that lie within its walls.

With the help of new friends, Mary is able to overcome her pain and grief and find meaning in the simplest of things, including a little bit of earth. Join QC Concerts as this sweeping story comes to life, bringing Lily’s garden to today’s audience in a way in which we will all remember the beauty and innocence of a child’s discovery found in the beauty of the world around them.
