The Universe Within is an extraordinary and captivating musical odyssey that transcends the boundaries of conventional compositions, welcoming listeners into a surround-sound meditative landscape. Crafted by a collective of talented composer/performers – Elizabeth Kowalski, RoyalCity Lif, Fred Dunlap III, Scott McLaughlin, and John Shaughnessy, with Leo Wolf from the Cult of Sinetology and percussionist Katie Kilroy – this immersive in-the-round experience takes you deep into the inner recesses of your mind.
Sound and visuals converge through layers, waves, textures, and colors. Scenes of the journey mixed with projections of live painting by SHE Sapona, dramatically interpreting the music into visuals – mixing and applying color with her pallet knife and bottle to a primed 4×6’ canvas, which will be available for purchase after the show.
