Vision & Spirit, a collaboration with Bank of America, is composed of more than 100 visual art pieces spanning 100 years. These paintings, prints, drawings, photographs, sculptures and mixed-media works by forty-eight black artists highlight key moments that reflect the prevailing climate for all African-Americans. Vision & Spirit examines how, despite their unique methods of creating the art, each piece shares the task of providing a glimpse into the historical context that collectively delivers a compendium of a century within the black experience.
