Charlotte Goes Green Festival (St. Patrick’s Day)
There will be something for everyone of all ages to enjoy. It’s the place to be after the parade. The Festival is located on S. Tryon St. between 3rd St. & Stonewall St. The festival hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and features Irish music, Irish dancers, bagpipers, Irish/Celtic and other vendors, a children’s amusement area and plenty of food & beverages.
Circle K Speed Street presented by Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola Speed Street delivers an unprecedented consumer experience to an estimated 400,000 fans by means of live entertainment, access to racing’s brightest stars, and displays from sponsors Coca-Cola, Miller Lite, Chevrolet and many more. As a precursor to the Coca-Cola 600 held at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Coca-Cola Speed Street will entertain more than 400,000 guests over the course of three days and is promoted and produced exclusively by CSM Production.
Taste of Charlotte
Hop over to Taste of Charlotte the second weekend of June to sample a variety of foods in a friendly atmosphere. Admission to Taste of Charlotte is free. Guests can purchase coins for their food samples and beverages. Enjoy delicious food while you stroll along Tryon Street visiting local & national sponsors. The festival offers entertainment that is enjoyable for all ages!
Charlotte Pride Festival & Parade
Charlotte Pride presents the annual lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and queer (LGBTQ) Pride festival and other events in the Queen City. The annual festival is the largest LGBTQ Pride event in the Carolinas and the largest between Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
Hola Charlotte
Hola Charlotte is the largest Hispanic Heritage event organized in Charlotte. Hola Charlotte features renown entertainers and bands, a Latin American Cultural Village, Authentic Latin American food from different countries, a cultural pavilion, Zumba demos, cultural dance performances, Latin American contemporary fashion, and much more!
