Voices From The Past will have portrayers in Settler's Cemetery in Uptown Charlotte on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, 12-4PM, to celebrate the most famous day in Mecklenburg's history.
On May 20, 1775 the citizens of Mecklenburg County declared their independence from the King of Great Britian. One year before American declared it's Independence on July 4, 1776.
