Football is BACK
Fall is here, and that means Panthers football is taking over the city by storm! There’s nothing like a game day in Uptown Charlotte, the leaves are changing, the air is crisp, and the city is roaring with energy. Whether you’re going into the stadium or watching with friends at a bar, Uptown has everything you need for a full day of entertainment.
Here’s the Panthers 2025 home game schedule to help you plan:
September 21 – Atlanta Falcons
October 5 – Miami Dolphins
October 12 – Dallas Cowboys
October 26 – Buffalo Bills
November 9 – New Orleans Saints
November 30 – Los Angeles Rams
December 21 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 17 – Seattle Seahawks (date and time TBD)
Start the Day:
Begin your morning with a walk through Uptown ArtWalks, Luminous Lane, or the Talking Walls Trail. It’s a fun, free way to see some colorful street art. If you like museums, check out the Mint Museum Uptown, Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, or the Harvey B. Gantt Center.
Lunch:
Grab a bite at The Market at 7th Street. There’s pizza, pasta, waffles, sandwiches, ice cream; something for everyone. When it's nice outside, take your order to First Ward Park for a picnic. If you want a sit-down lunch, Duckworth’s Grill & Taphouse has plenty of TVs and beer, Cowbell Burger & Whiskey Bar is great for burgers and shakes, and Cedar Street Tavern & Bar is a friendly, casual spot.
Pre-Game:
Head toward the stadium and check out some bars to get in the game-day mood. Graham Street Pub & Patio has a rooftop view, Clutch Kitchen & Pour House has TVs and stadium energy, and Belfast Mill Irish Pub is intimate with lots of pints.
Game Time:
This is what you’ve been waiting for, it’s kickoff time! Uptown's streets are full of Panthers fans, and you’ve got two ways to join the fun:
Go to the game. Head into Bank of America Stadium early so you can grab a drink, find your seats, and get loud when the team runs out of the tunnel. The DJ's music, the fireworks, and 70,000 fans cheering? Nothing beats it.
Or, turn a bar into your stadium. Not going inside? No problem. Uptown’s bars are packed with fans and TVs, and the energy is just as high. Grab a table at Clutch Kitchen & Pour House with its stadium view, cheer with the crowd at Graham Street Pub & Patio, or settle into Rí Rá Irish Pub with a Guinness in hand. Wherever you go, Belfast Mill, Duckworth’s, Courtyard Hooligans, Cowbell Burger & Whiskey Bar, Valhalla Pub & Eatery, and more, you’ll have the perfect view of the big plays and plenty of people to celebrate with when the Panthers score.
Post-Game:
Keep the energy UP with dinner and drinks in the heart of the QC. For something fancy, try Aria Tuscan Grill, Mimosa Grill, or Fahrenheit. For a more casual meal, Valhalla Pub & Eatery or Queen City Bites & Crafts are perfect. Want dessert? Stop by Golden Cow Creamery for ice cream or Crave Dessert Bar for cocktails with a sweet twist.
Nighttime:
If you’re not ready to call it a night, rooftop bars like Nuvole Rooftop TwentyTwo or Merchant & Trade are great spots for a last drink and a view or hit the town at Retro Bar and Hiive Night Club.
No matter what kind of football fan you are, Uptown Charlotte makes every game day an adventure. Be sure to tag us on social media at @Uptown.CLT if you hit any spots on this list!
