This artistic wonderland, adorned with murals, paste-ups, and fiber art, emerged from the Charlotte SHOUT! Spray Jam in 2023 under the theme "Bringing Light to Dark Places." Curated by Sydney Duarte and Treazy Treaz, Luminous Lane has become a symbol of the power of art in revitalizing communities.
From Forgotten to Luminous: The Birth of a Creative Vision
Luminous Lane was conceived as part of the Charlotte SHOUT! Festival, a celebration of art, music, and culture that aims to showcase the talents of local artists. What was once an unappealing and neglected alleyway connecting 3rd Street and 4th Street has now become a canvas for artistic expression.
